Gov Sarah Huckabee Sanders' corruption
is similar to what is going on in North Carolina, weakening public information laws
I’m sharing this Meidas Touch video as a case study in state-level corruption, “Lectern-Gate” from Arkansas. Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders supposedly bought a $19,000+ lectern with taxpayer money, which was already dumb, but it was actually a fraud. The money is alleged to be a payout to her friend to reimburse for a lavish Paris vacation, and even if the lectern exists, it does not cost $19,000. The payment is totally suspect.
And as always, the coverup makes it worse. We are talking multiple felonies. Arkansas even went as far to weaken FOIA laws to help the corrupt governor keep this secret.
Illegal payments to friends? Tampering with official state financial records? There’s a lot all there.
I am sharing this video for two reasons. First, it is a clear & vivid story of political corruption. I predict is the tip of an iceberg of fraud in Arkansas. Can’t wait for the audit!
Second, this scandal resonates with what is happening in North Carolina right now with the newly weaponized Gov Ops committee that has been turned into Tim Moore and Phil Berger’s secret police. The levers of power in our state are being tweaked in politically biased, unaccountable ways.
Here’s a link to my recent video interview with NC State Senator Graig Meyer, who is sounding the alarm about the dangers of Gov Ops.
[Note: for some reason, Substack is not letting me upload photos or video right now, which is annoying, but I don’t want that to prevent me from posting. I’ll post images again when I can!]
